Dates

Submissions open: 07/20/2026, 6AM PST.

Submissions close: 08/05/2026, 12AM PST.

All submissions must be completed and submitted through Devpost before the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

How to Enter

To enter, participants must, during the Submission Period:

Register for the hackathon on Devpost.

Build or extend a functioning project that uses Paritok to optimize its LLM requests.

Submit the project on Devpost with all required materials (see Submission Requirements on the hackathon page): project URL, public open-source repository (Apache 2.0), text description, demo video (under 3 minutes), and evidence that Paritok is running in the project.

Eligibility

This hackathon is open globally to individuals who are above the age of majority in their country of residence at the time of entry. Participants may enter as an individual or as a team.

The following are not eligible: residents of countries under U.S. or other applicable embargo or sanctions; individuals on any relevant sanctions list; and employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Paritok and its affiliates, and anyone involved in organizing or judging this hackathon.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Projects may be new or built on an existing codebase, but your use of Paritok must be set up during the Submission Period and must play a meaningful role in the project. Simply pointing an existing project at Paritok as an afterthought — with no real bearing on what it does — does not qualify.
  • The project's code repository must be public and licensed under Apache 2.0, and must credit Paritok with a link back to the Paritok repository (e.g. a "Built with Paritok" line in the README).
  • Submissions must be your original work. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all content, code, assets, and third-party materials used.
  • Submissions must not contain unlawful, infringing, harmful, or offensive content, and must comply with all applicable laws.
  • Demo videos must not contain copyrighted music or third-party trademarks without permission.

Prizes

Prizes are as described on the hackathon page. Prizes are non-transferable. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. Paritok reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Cash prizes will be distributed via PayPal, Wise, or Zelle, depending on the winner's location and eligibility, within 30 days of winner confirmation. Winners are responsible for providing accurate payment details.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by Paritok, based on the Judging Criteria listed on the hackathon page. In the event of a tie, the tied submissions will be re-evaluated on Use of Paritok to determine the winner. Winners will be notified via the email associated with their Devpost account and announced on 08/10/2026.

Intellectual Property

Participants retain all ownership of their submissions. By entering, participants grant Paritok a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, promote, and reference their submission (name, description, video, screenshots, and links) for the purpose of operating and promoting the hackathon and Paritok. Because all submissions must be open source under Apache 2.0, the code is available to the public under that license.

General Conditions

Paritok reserves the right to disqualify any submission that violates these rules, infringes third-party rights, or is otherwise inappropriate. Paritok reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the hackathon, or amend these rules, at any time with notice to participants. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the judges and organizers, which are final and binding.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally across all hackathon channels, including Devpost and Discord. Harassment, hate speech, and abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification and removal.
